On Saturday, feel free to wear summer formal, cocktail, or garden party attire. Amelia will be wearing traditional Palestinian dress with a twist, and Grigalius will be in a colorful suit. No color is off limits and bright colors are welcome! Avoid stiletto heels for the ceremony and reception (we will walk on grass). Breakfast/coffee is casual. See here for some photos of outfit ideas for the Henna on Friday and here for the Wedding!
We are happy that Trinity Hall has blocked off rooms in both its Central Site (where all the wedding day events will take place) and WYNG Gardens, which is a short walk through the beautiful centre of Cambridge. Let us know in the RSVP if you want one of those rooms — we will reserve for you and you can pay on arrival. The prices are listed on the Travel page and the RSVP form.
Cambridge also has plenty of other hotels, so if you fancy something a little more fancy, take a look at your favorite booking site.
Walking directions to Trinity Hall Central Site (CB2 1TJ) from WYNG Gardens (Thompson's Lane, CB5 8AQ):
Yes! Bring your favorite tiny humans. Just let us know via the RSVP form if you're bringing the kids so we can reserve special meals. Babies can stay in WYNG Gardens and we'll make space for them next to you at your dining table. Kids under 16 who aren't babies (e.g. don't fit in a travel cot) unfortunately cannot stay in Central Site or WYNG Gardens.
If they get fussy during dinner or the ceremony, no stress — feel free to get up and walk around the college!
We have tried to send everyone their own invitation, so if we know your partner(s) make sure to ask them to check their email/mail — they should have an invite of their own! If not, reach out to us. We have a limited amount of space so we ask that if you don't have a long-term partner that you just bring your bad self. Plus our friends are very attractive, if we do say so ourselves.
As you come in to Trinity Hall Central Site on Saturday, there will be signs pointing you to drop off your book in the Bridgetower Room. If in doubt, ask the Porters.
Assistance dogs are accepted with prior arrangement, but otherwise no pets are allowed.
Fear not: we will have bodyguards on the premises to protect all of our volunteer referees.
