Cambridge is easily accessible by train from London (King's Cross Station). The journey takes about 50 minutes and trains run every hour. This is the route we recommend!
You can also get the slower train from London Liverpool Street which takes about 1 hour 30 minutes or the Thameslink train from Farringdon which takes about 1 hour 15 minutes. Check trainline.com for train timetables!
Once you get to Cambridge station, you can walk (30 min), take the bus (20 min), or order a taxi (10-15 minutes) into the city centre. To use the local taxi service, download the Panther Taxis app.
London Stansted is the closest airport to Cambridge. You can take the train from Stansted to Cambridge station or take a taxi ( both take 30 minutes).
from London Luton Airport, you can take the train into London St Pancras Station (30 minutes) and then catch the train to Cambridge from King's Cross Station (5o minutes).
Most intercontinental flights fly to London Heathrow or London Gatwick.
Directions from Heathrow
From Heathrow, take the Heathrow Express (fastest) or the Elizabeth Line (cheapest), and catch the train to Cambridge from London King's Cross train station or London Liverpool Street Station.
Fast route (recommended)
Take the Heathrow Express to Paddington (15 minutes), hop on the London Underground (aka the Tube) Circle/Hammersmith & City Line (the Yellow and Pink lines) Eastbound to King's Cross (15 minutes). Then catch the train to Cambridge (50 minutes). You can find the Tube Map here.
Directions from Gatwick
From Gatwick, take the Thameslink train direct to Cambridge (2 hours). Trains are less frequent so make sure to check the times online!
We have blocked out college guest rooms at Trinity Hall and Trinity Hall's WYNG Gardens. Both include breakfast, served in the fancy Dining Hall at Trinity Hall. If you want to stay in either location, just say so in your RSVP and we'll make sure you have a room reserved (you can pay on arrival).
